Welcome to The Imperfect Psychologists, a community for women to connect and reclaim imperfection, guided by two psychologist.

Now more than ever, we know that real connections are one of our greatest strengths, and so we founded The Imperfect Psychologists in the hope of bringing women together. We are building a place where women are seen, valued and heard, with messiness and imperfection encouraged.

.

Right now, we are offering the Book(ish) Club. A 'sort of' attempt at a free book club where book can mean book, tv show, podcast or even just an idea. Really it is an opportunity to meet as our unfiltered messy selves to talk about things that matter. We will even offer psychological  skills along the way.

Looking forward, we have lots of exciting things to come, think in person meet ups, more focused courses and retreats.

Join us, we cannot wait to meet you!

Our Story

We’re two clinical psychologists and two real women with different lives, but many of the same struggles. Whether that is trying to keep the admin under control, make time for rest, and occasionally not binge-watch reality TV (we usually fail).

We started The Imperfect Psychologists to create something we couldn’t find: a space for women to connect, reflect, and feel more human not more pressured.

Whether it’s through our book club, online spaces, or future retreats, we’re here to make wellbeing feel more honest, more spacious, and a little less like another thing on your to-do list.

The Book(ish) Club

A purposely imperfect book club by The Imperfect Psychologists

Welcome to our book(ish) club a free, monthly online meeting for women who want the chance to speak about subjects that matter. Maybe you've thought about reading other book clubs, but may struggle actually read the book. If so, welcome, you are in good company.

Each month we offer a theme, alongside some suggested reading, podcasts, videos or even just a question to prompt reflection. You can do all of these, or none. Just turn up, as you are. We hope to see you there.
